1、集中注意力，全神贯注地完整地听1遍录音，以判断难易程度决定先看还是先听。如果完全能听懂，也能理解文章内容，可另外换一个难度大点的'素材;如果大概能听懂，但存在多处细节不明白，那这篇文章非常适合练习听力，可先听后看;如果听完一遍只能听懂几个句子或单词，不能掌握文章大意，说明较难，可先直接细读以基本理解原文，把不懂的词汇通过查询弄懂，阅读完后继续完成以下的步骤。

2、第二次完整的播放录音，开始摘要式听写，只需写出文章大意。用笔将听到的关键词句写在稿纸上，听不懂得可先打个问号代替下。为了提高书写速度，对于类似United States可采用简写形式，不熟悉的人名、地名也可简写。不允许暂停播放，要播到哪、听到哪、写到哪。

3、接着就是完全式的听写，多听几遍，可播一句听一句，暂停播放写一句，以争取写出与原文一摸一样的听写稿。对于英语初学者，建议能经常进行完全式听写，有助于辨清单词发音，纠正习惯性单词拼写错误，并增加听力词汇。

4、完成听写后，隔天我们可将这个听力素材再拿出来听1-2遍，不用执笔写下来，只需在脑海里把听到的语句拼出来，确保听清每一个词句。然后再隔段时间再重复听，这样反复听的目的在于强化，让你行程听力条件反射，就是让你拥有一听到某些词句就能立即条件反射式地在脑袋里写出你所听到的语句。
