In recent years, people are developing an inseparable relationship with Internet. As is known to all, it is convenient for us to click the mouse when surfing on line, either to entertain ourselves or to meet the work’s needs.

On the one hand, no one denies that Internet is currently one of the most useful media in our daily life. As a college student, I get on line every day to exchange information through e-mails with my net friends. But on the other hand, a good many people admit that they are too much addicted to Internet to maintain a regular and wholesome lifestyle.

Thus, it is necessary for us to use Internet in a reasonable way and restrain from overindulgence. After all，Internet is invented to enrich our life, and to improve the efficiency of our work rather than shackle us with a chain.

近年来，人们越来越离不开因特网。众所周知，我们都能很方便地在网上冲浪时点击鼠标，无论是为了自我娱乐还是适应工作的需求。

另一方面，没有人否认互联网是目前在我们日常生活中最有用的媒体。作为一名大学生，我每天上网通过电子邮件和我的网友们交流信息。但另一方面，很多人承认他们太沉迷于网络而无法保持一种正常和健康的生活方式。

Since its rise, the internet has been playing a more and more important role in our daily life. From news and information browsing to online entertainment, the tremendous convenience and efficiency brought by internet is amazing. Thus, online course, as a part of internet utilization, has become a popular means of learning for many netizens.

因特网自从兴起之日便在我们的日常生活中扮演着越来越重要的角色。从浏览新闻信息到网络娱乐，网络为我们带来巨大的便利和效率令人赞叹。因此，作为因特网应用的一部分，网络课程已经成为了许多网民中流行的学习方式。

Itis developing so fast, and the effects are so marvelous that many people believe that it will replace traditional course. In the first place, online course is much cheaper than traditional one, people will not have to pay a big amount tuition fee, and the learning content is as splendid as traditional the second place, online course is more convenience and flexibility. This advantage is beneficial to office people. They want to constantly improve themself, but they need to work in daytime. Online course provide them a goodchance to study whenever they want. In the third place, if students want tolearn a higher education, they need to pass lots of exams, which means more time, energy and money. To the contrary, if the Yale and Harvard Universityoffer open course for free, who would say no to it?

According to the points above, the potential of online course is so huge that will certainly take a great share of the study way. But online course still needs some improvements to totally replace the traditional course.

Do computers Make People Lonely？ 电脑让人们变得更孤独吗？

Step into the new century, computers have already become an indispensable part of our daily lives. We do not only use the computers to do business, but also e the computers bring us lots of convenient, some people argue that it make people lonelier and decrease our social skills. Due to the Internet, we don’t need to go outside to communicate with others face to face. And I do think that computers make people lonelier to some extend for the following reasons.

进入新世纪，电脑早已成为人们生活不可缺的一部分。我们不仅仅用电脑来办公，也用它来娱乐自己。有些人说，电脑在给我们提供便利的同时，也让我们的交际能力下降，变得更加孤独。我认为电脑确实在某种程度上让我们变得更加孤独了，原因如下：

First, computers have too many functions that people can easily get indulging in the computers games, especially teenagers. Playing computer games, they don’t hand out with peers any more. In the second place, many people cannot live without some of them, if they don’t surf the Internet for one day, don’t check their personal blog, or their weibo, they will feel really uncomfortable. Somepeople even become net-potato. It is fine for them not to speak with others all day long, but they can’t help surfing the Internet. Such phenomenon is ubiquitous; people rather lock themselves up with computers than going outsideto find someone who can talk with. As to these people, computer is their bestfriend.

首先，电脑有太多的功能，人们很容易沉迷于电脑游戏，特别是青少年。因为玩电脑游戏，他们就不出门和小伙伴玩了。其二，很多人不能没有电脑。对于某些人来说，一天不上网，不看看博客，不更新个人微博，他们就会感觉不舒服。更有甚者变成了“网络马铃薯”。对于他们来说，一天不和其他人说话都相安无事，但是不能不上网。这种现象很普遍：人们愿意把自己和电脑关在一起，也不愿意出门找个人谈谈心。对于他们来说，电脑就是最好的朋友。

There is no denying that computers do provide us with numerous conveniences. But we do become less active when we spend too much time on the Internet. We should change this situation, go outside with our friends, and communicate with them, face to face.

我们不能否认电脑确实提供给我们很多的便利。但是我们确实在电脑上花了太多的时间了，也变得更懒了。我们应该改变这一现状，和我们的朋友一起出去走走，面对面的沟通交流。

The Disadvantages of Finding a Job through Internet 网上找工作的弊端

As more and more companies tend to post vacant position online rather than go to the job fair, most people also prefer to find jobs through Internet. Some people think that it is very convenient for them to find jobs because they can check the basic information of a certain company any time they want. Some argue that it is not so good for them to find jobs online because there are also some people will take advantage of them by getting job seekers’ information. In my opinion, I’m convinced that the disadvantages weigh too much than the advantages. Reasons are as follows.

越来越多的公司倾向于在网上发布招聘信息，而不选择到招聘会去。因此，求职者也更愿意选择从网上找工作。一些人认为网上找工作很方便，因为他们可以随时查阅公司的`基本信息。一些人认为网上找工作并不好，因为网上一些不坏好意的人会利用他们的信息做坏事。就我看来，我认为网上找工作弊大于利。原因如下：

First and foremost, some people will take advantages by stealing your personal information. With the high development of Internet, some kinds of cyber crime emerge. Those offenders often steal victim’s information through Internet and then commit a crime.

首先，一些人会窃取你的个人信息做坏事。随着网络的快速发展，出现了一些网络犯罪。那些作案者通常会通过网络窃取受害者的信息然后作案。

Secondly, you maybe cheated by the fake informationon the Internet. It happens quite often that some job seekers receive some calls to invite them to have an interview. But when they get to the appointed place, they find that it is not the same company as posted online.

其次，你可能会被网络上的虚假信息欺骗。有很多的求职者会接到一些邀请他们面试的电话。但是当求职者到达约定的地点，他们会发现面试的公司与网上的写的公司并不相同。这种情况时有发生。

In conclusion, through the analysis above, I don’t think it is wise for us to find jobs online not only because your personal information will be stolen, but you will be cheated.

总是，通过以上的分析，我认为在网上找工作并不明智，不仅仅是因为你的私人信息会被盗，另外你也可能会上当受骗。

Advantages and Disadvantages of the Internet 网络的优缺点

Internet is now coming into our life. It brings us not only a lot of convenience ，happiness but also troubles. Some students use Internet as a too to study. They look up the meanings of the words， a translated form of a sentence，the background of an event or a story ，the information of a company or a famous person，etc.

They also read news or send e-mails through it. Internet helps them learn more and study well.

On the other hand，some students play games，chat with friends ，see the pictures or films even the unhealthy ones on the Internet the whole day. They are not interested in their subjects. It’s very dangerous for them!

The Internet’s advantages and disadvantages are shown clearly to us. I think we should make good use of it and stay away from the unhealthy websites.

互联网正在融入我们的生活。它不仅给我们带来了很多便利，开心同时也带来了麻烦。一些学生使用互联网来学习。他们看了这些单词的意思，翻译成一个句子，一个事件或故事的背景，一个公司或著名人物的信息，等等。

我们都很清楚互联网的优势和劣势。我认为我们应该好好利用它，远离不健康的网站。
