　　名词

英语中的物质名词和抽象名词是不可数名词，它们没有复数形式。

一般规则名词加“s”或“es”等构成复数形式(如：desks)，英语中也存在大量不规则名词，它们的复数属于不规则变化范围。如：man-men，foot-feet.

有些以“-ics”结尾的表示学科名称的名词，虽以s结尾，但仍是单数。如：physics。

有些集合名词指整体概念时，为单数;指个体时是复数概念。

合成名词变复数时，一般是将主体名词变为复数;如果没有主体名词，则在合成名词后加“s”。

表示无生命名词的所有关系，用“of+名词”短语，放在名词后作定语，表示所属关系。
