我的家乡在杭州的东部——下沙。从市区到下沙由一条宽长的马路连接，路边绿化面积非常大，有高大的银杏、梧桐树、桂花树，还有迎春花、紫荆花，一年四季花草常绿，树木茂盛。游客一进下沙就感觉到了树的海洋，花的世界。

闻名世界的钱塘江就在我家的前面，那里有湿地公园，景色迷人，空气新鲜，每个季节都有候鸟在那里嬉戏。每年的8月18日天下一绝的潮水会吸引中外游客来下沙观赏。

下沙是杭州的副城，这有很多的`高楼大厦，宽敞而整洁的马路，还有闻名的大学城。

下沙还是全国著名的开发区，这里汇聚了全球五百强工厂，有娃哈哈、可口可乐、康师傅等等。
